The House Day 12

I sort of suspected that this wall was "fake" because the trim was all crappy. Quick couple of smacks with the hammer and lookie here, the usual 1 1/2" of plaster and some studs. Here's some shots of the original. The one on the left is looking south, the right is on the other side looking north.

	You can see that the mess from yesterday is still there (cleaning just sucks). Anyway, a few days ago I attempted to rip down that crap that was covering the windows, but today, the whole thing went. It went pretty much as expect (I've gotten pretty good at sawing down walls. Below are the same shots, about 15 minutes later.

	The removal of the window proved to be a bit tricky. I got pissed off and just busted the whole thing out. That probably would have happened anyway since there were about 4 coats of really think paint on the thing. Finally, the quasi finished product. I still haven't cleaned this up yet, although I did sweep the "new" set of stairs and was nearly asphyxiated from all the dust.

	The second floor flows quite a bit better (or it will once I pick up all of the nail laden boards).
