The House Day 10

I've been working on the house for 10 days now and I needed a bit of a release. What better way to do it then by destroying some structures. First up, the before shots. These are looking that the "closet" from the 2nd floor kitchen (left) and the bathroom (right).

	The bottom of the stairwell was slightly less interesting - just a few steps and then a wall. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of it before I hit it with the ax, but you get the idea. On the right is looking into the "closet". Notice the ghetto wiring job - beautiful.

	The one thing I can't stress enough about this house is that I think the paint alone is enough to hold the place up. Exhibit A is the picture below.

	That's right, FIVE different colors! Plus who knows how many other that were under the board that was removed. Don't even get my started on the multi-layer wallpaper jobs . . . Anyway, onto destruction. I've gotten quite handy with my power tools so I can make real short work of these "walls"

	This stuff was amazingly thick (and very heavy). Notice the pile developing on the floor . . . crap.

	Finally, the wall is gone. The floor is proving quite unruly so I'll just leave that for tomorrow.
